The Thin Red Line changed my life, and this trailer looks like a mix of TTRL and The Fountain, so it makes me happy. I won’t be reading about the film beforehand as I hope to see it with a clear mind and open heart. The trailer music is from La Moldau by Bedrich Smetana. I’m sure there will be new opinions written about Malick’s relationship to Wagnerism, but none from me.
